Beau Tardy is a Paris-born American artist and award-winning broadcast designer known for his work across a variety of mediums, including digital art, painting, street art, and motion graphics. He is a full spectrum artist and prominent figure in the convergence of traditional fine art and modern technology. His work is a bridge between the gritty underground scenes of the 1980s and the high-tech digital art of today. His work seeks to integrate traditional art and Mass Media. 

He began his art career in 1984 in New York City where he attended Parsons School of Design. He became involved in the East Village art scene getting his work published in the seminal East Village Eye and participating in group shows with other noted East Village artists such as Gary Panter and Wayne White.

After dropping out of art school and moving to Paris he joined art collective Mano-Mano to do street art, graffiti, billboard subversion and art performances.

He understood that the future of Art was closely linked to Technology. He was a digital art pioneer, working on Quantel Paintbox as early as 1987 for broadcast TV. He then became increasingly involved in electronic imagery, digital art, video and television, garnering a French Ministry of Culture art grant for his 'Electronism' project.

In New York in the early 90s he was hired by the on-air graphics department at MTV where he animated graphics and show opens for MTV News, Yo! MTV Raps and The Real World. As an award winning media professional, Beau has worked for the likes of MTV, VH1, NBC and ABC nationally and Canal +, Global Japan, Australian Channel 7 and MTV Europe internationally.

In 1996 Beau founded Dizzy Worldwide, a TV and computer graphics studio whose clients are major cable TV networks and advertising agencies. Dizzy Worldwide has won many industry awards including Gold BDA, Silver Telly Award & Communicator Award of Distinction.

Beau has shown paintings, installations and digital art  internationally including the Barcelona Biennale, Sydney, Australia, the Contemporary Art Center in New Orleans, Houston, Paris and New York.

Currently, he is involved in combining A.I. and digital technologies to explore new forms of work and pushing the boundaries of what is considered "Art & Media"
